Zoom No problems with the race pace of the F1.08

Kimi Raikkonen dominated the Malaysian Grand Prix following the exit of Ferrari team-mate Felipe Massa, but it was Nick Heidfeld who posted the fastest lap in the 56-lap event, stopping the clocks at 1:35.366s on his penultimate tour.

The BMW Sauber driver was in a train of cars led by Jarno Trulli and Lewis Hamilton pushing to the very end of the Grand Prix for position and he took the chequered flag just over three seconds behind Hamilton who in turn was less than a second behind Trulli.

Kimi Raikkonen’s second fastest lap of the race cane just ahead of his final stop and seemed to be for amusement rather than anything required as by that point he had a comfortable 20 second margin at the head of the field.

Hamilton set his best lap in the final laps while Jenson Button was an impressive fourth fastest overall setting his bet lap right at the end of the Grand Prix.
