Seeking the finance to continue in Formula One
Super Aguri Honda has today released another statement with regard to the future of the Formula One team.

As widely reported, the team had hoped to conclude a deal with the Magma Group, but the deal did not go ahead as planned. Last Wednesday the team confirmed that 'its investors no longer wish to fund the intended acquisition.'

Since then the team has re-opened talks with Magma and other parties as the equipment and staff departed for Circuit de Catalunya for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix as scheduled.

While the team may be present in Spain, it is not clear if they will be able to participate in the event itself. The following is a release from the team as last minute negotiations continue.

Statement from Aguri Suzuki
"Further to the statement issued by SUPER AGURI F1 TEAM on Wednesday 16th April 2008 we advise that discussions regarding investment are on going, however, due to legal conditions, we are unable to expand on, allude to or provide further details regarding this confidential matter at present."

"We would like to thank our Team partners, suppliers, our fans and colleagues in the media for their continuing patience and support, and we look forward to our weekend at the Barcelona Grand Prix."
