The Williams team were out on track again today for day two of the three-day Monza test. Nico Rosberg returned to the cockpit for a consecutive day of preparation work ahead of the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday 14 September.
Rosberg covered 100 laps of the 5.793km track and recorded the second-fastest time of the day behind Nick Heidfeld's BMW Sauber, with a run timed at 1:22.879.
"Nico was back in the cockpit today and completed 100 laps of the Monza track with no mechanical problems," reported Dickie Stanford, the Test Team Manager at Williams.
"The team spent the session continuing set-up preparations for the Italian Grand Prix," he added.
Kazuki Nakajima will be joining the team at Monza in order to take over from Rosberg on Friday, the final day of the group test session.
