cclestone to welcome back Mosley
''He should come back and carry on like normal''

Ecclestone leaves it all behind
Despite recently calling for the embattled FIA President to resign, F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone now believes everyone should forget about the Max Mosley sex scandal.

"People have come to the conclusion that whatever happened was just Max and nothing to do with anything else," he told BBC radio's Sportsweek.

"For a short period I said he should resign but now I don't see why he should. All these people saying 'I don't want to meet Max' (are) all going to disappear."

Mosley is scheduled to appear at the Italian Grand Prix next month.

"I'll welcome him back," Ecclestone said. "Good -- he should come back and carry on like normal.
"

He said he hopes Mosley, the son of the 1930s British fascists leader Sir Oswald Mosley, is remembered for more than a prison-themed orgy with prostitutes.

"Sometimes I think he interferes in F1 a little bit more than he should, but he's done an awful lot for road safety and things like that, which people don't hear about," Ecclestone said.

"I think people will forget a lot of this nonsense. I really don't think people give a damn," he concluded.
