Zoom Kubica calm in the silly-season...

Robert Kubica on Thursday would not confirm reports that he has signed to stay at BMW Sauber next year and remain a free agent to join Ferrari or another team in 2010.

"It's the first time I hear this," the Pole told reporters at Spa Francorchamps, scene of this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix.

When asked whether he expects to race with BMW next year, Kubica, 23, answered: "I don't know. We will see. I don't see a need to hurry."

He was, however, prepared to name his tip for the 2008 championship - Ferrari's on-form Brazilian driver, Felipe Massa.

"I think in the past he did quite a lot of mistakes, and also starting this season, but lately he is doing really a very good job," said Kubica.

"To put Kimi in trouble is not easy and he has done it. Okay, in some races Kimi is still quicker but lately Felipe has been more often in front of him and with quite big gaps."
