A few teething problems at the first Singapore GP
|
Sebastien Bourdais labelled the pit entry for Singapore's new street circuit 'incredibly dangerous' during the opening day of practice on Friday.
The Frenchman's concerns about the section, which begins at the penultimate corner of F1's first night race venue, were highlighted when his Toro Rosso team-mate Sebastian Vettel ran off the circuit to avoid Jarno Trulli as the Toyota traversed the pit entry.
The pit entry clips the apex of the fast double left hander which rounds out the lap.
The final corner proved a difficult challenge for drivers, catching out spinners Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen, Monza winner Vettel, and proving the scene of Rubens Barrichello's crash in first practice.
