Zoom A little instruction for Valentino Rossi

Yesterday was the last day of testing for MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi with Ferrari at Mugello as weather conditions deteriorated.

Rossi could only go out on a dry track in the morning, using the according tyres. In the afternoon rain and low temperatures compromised the test.

Rossi was not to be discouraged however as he took to the Italian circuit in the wet conditions. He recorded his fastest lap in a time of 1:24.04, while his best lap on a wet track was a 1:33.56. The test session ended just before 5pm.

"The test went quite well," Rossi stated at the end of the day. "Unfortunately I could just go out for a couple of laps on a dry track in the morning, but we also tried it on the wet track. I was impressed and it went well."

"The car is fantastic and all in all it was a good test. I want to thank the guys from the Team and obviously Luca di Montezemolo and Stefano Domenicali, who were really committed over the last two days. I felt like a real Formula One driver!"
