Zoom Car launches in January

BMW Sauber and Toyota have both confirmed launch dates for their 2009 challengers.

BMW Sauber’s F1.09 package will be ‘rolled out’ at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo on 20th January.

Toyota meanwhile confirmed that it will unveil the TF109 on 15th January.

However, in a statement the team said that ‘to emphasise its commitment to overall cost reduction in Formula One, the team will not proceed with its traditional pre-season event programme. ’

Toyota will begin its 2009 pre-season testing with the TF109 on 20th January, the opening day of a three-day test at the new Algarve Motor Park in Portugal.
