Rumours of a title sponsor for Formula One

According to sources, Formula One will announce an official sponsor at an event on Wednesday.

The event is slated to take place at London's five-star Landmark Hotel.

It is believed the sponsor in question, to pledge both a purely financial as well as technical input, is LG, the major South Korean electronics company.

LG previously sponsored the Regent Street F1 parade back in 2004.
