Aiming to stay race sharp in the Le Mans Series

BMW Sauber test driver Christian Klien will probably not travel to Barcelona for the Spanish Grand Prix next month.
The 26-year-old Austrian has been called up on that weekend to contest the 1000km Spa Francorchamps sports car race for Peugeot.
BMW Sauber has agreed to release Klien, but he will need to abandon his Peugeot LMS duties and rush to the Circuit de Catalunya should either Nick Heidfeld or Robert Kubica have to sit out the F1 race.
"All necessary precautions have been taken in advance should Christian be called upon to drive the Formula One Grand Prix in Barcelona," a statement posted on his website confirmed.
Brawn Mercedes reserve driver Alex Wurz will race another Peugeot 908 HDi FAP at Spa on the same weekend.
