Rapid Buemi putting pressure on Bourdais
|
Sebastien Bourdais has denied speculation that an apparent falling out with team boss Franz Tost could cost him his Toro Rosso race seat.
Already under pressure after a difficult start to the 2009 season, the 30-year-old French driver is said to have got into a row with Tost in Barcelona, after crashing into team-mate Sebastien Buemi at the start of the race.
Team figures unfairly blamed Bourdais for the incident, with Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko telling Switzerland's
Blick newspaper:
"Maybe he should have put his glasses on."
But Bourdais told the
BBC at Monaco:
"No, there's absolutely no row."
He insists the start of the season has been difficult.
"I think the team knows that I'm doing the best I can. We had zero running at the start of the (winter) season and we've had to learn a car that changes every race; every race there is something different," said Bourdais.
