10:50:10 Welcome to F1-Live.com and live coverage of Saturday morning practice from Istanbul Park, the 60-minute practice session ahead of qualifying.
10:52:28 As expected, Ferrari are strong once again this weekend with Felipe Massa setting the Friday pace yesterday morning, and Kimi Raikkonen fastest in the afternoon.
10:55:03 Lewis Hamilton led the McLaren charge, using a soft set of tyres to set the second fastest time in the afternoon session, just 0.036s shy of Raikkonen while Heikki Kovalainen was fifth fastest in the second MP4-23.
10:56:04 It was a mixed day for Red Bull on Friday with David Coulthard fourth fastest behind Massa, while Mark Webber crashed out of the session. We have yet to see much pace from BMW Sauber who were chasing the balance yesterday.
10:57:03 Toyota has shown some good turns of speed with Jarno Trulli seventh fastest yesterday, but as ever in the tight mid-field, it could go either way.
10:58:49 It is likely that the front runners will concentrate on qualifying setup for Q3, with race fuel on board. Those lower down the order, will look for out and out pace for Q1 and Q2 with low fuel levels.
11:00:05 The pit lane is now open and the session is underway.
11:01:06 Force India send out Fisichella and Sutil. Most will complete an installation lap and pit for checks. The cars are now fitted with a race engine and gearbox.
11:01:37 Others are now heading out for the installation lap.
11:01:59 Once again the circuit is damp in parts, but it is not raining.
11:02:44 The early runners are now returning to the pit.
11:03:15 With a few damp patches, the drivers are using intermediate tyres for this first lap.
11:04:03 All but Raikkonen and Massa have been out for an installation lap.
11:06:13 No one on track. A number of drivers really do want to be out now as changes made overnight need to be checked and validated.
11:07:11 Rubens Barrichello heads back out in his Honda. He made big changes to the car yesterday afternoon and admitted he went the wrong way.
11:07:52 Barrichello opts to pit straight away.
11:09:34 With the final turns of the circuit wet, few want to be out right now and would rather wait for the circuit to dry.
11:12:43 Still no one on track. It is a cool day at Istanbul Park meaning the circuit will not dry quickly.
11:17:26 18 minutes down and still no sign of track activity.
11:17:55 Timo Glock has got bored of waiting and heads out in his Toyota.
11:19:29 Glock is on the intermediate tyre as he starts a timed lap.
11:20:23 Lewis Hamilton is now on track in his McLaren.
11:21:34 Glock records the first timed lap of the session, a 1:30.4, 1.6s slower than his time yesterday afternoon. It shows that the circuit cannot be that wet.
11:22:13 Sebatien Bourdais joins the action in his Toro Rosso Ferrari.
11:22:37 Glock improves next time around and is now under 90 seconds over the lap.
11:22:50 Sutil and Fisichella head out.
11:23:07 Hamilton moves fastest ahead of Glock.
11:23:25 Trulli and Vettel now on track as well.
11:24:02 With cars now on track, the circuit will dry a lot faster.
11:24:18 Rosberg on track for Williams.
11:24:38 Bourdais spins his Toro Rosso.
11:25:39 Half of the 20 runners are now on track as Sutil moves third ahead of Fisichella and Bourdais.
11:26:01 Vettel moves third fastest in his Toro Rosso.
11:26:25 Alonso heads out. Team-mate Piquet is also on track.
11:27:18 Rosberg moves fastest ahead of Hamilton, Glock and Trulli. The times will keep falling as the circuit picks up pace.
11:27:30 Kimi Raikkonen heads out for the first time.
11:28:53 Rosberg is already faster than he was yesterday. The team must have found time overnight in terms of setup.
11:29:11 Alonso moves fastest for Renault.
11:29:27 All on track now except Nakajima and Coulthard.
11:30:24 Piquet vaults second fastet in the second Renault.
11:30:38 Hamilton improves and is now second to Alonso.
11:30:53 Raikkonen is tenth at the moment.
11:31:26 Rosberg moves fastest ahead of Alonso and Hamilton.
11:32:14 All change at the top as Piquet, Hamilton and Alonso trade best laps.
11:33:28 A spin for Nakajima at turn six, Raikkonen moves fifth.
11:33:53 Piquet is now fastest from Hamilton. Alonso and Rosberg pit.
11:35:21 Coulthard and Button move up the order for Red Bull and Honda.
11:35:52 Now Raikkonen is fastest from Hamilton. Piquet and Alonso have pitted.
11:37:24 Massa moves second fastest.
11:38:07 Hamilton pits as Massa is on a faster lap.
11:38:21 Coulthard is up to third in his RB4.
11:38:51 Kovalainen improves and is now fourth.
11:39:04 Massa moves fastest for Ferrari.
11:39:25 Trulli is currently slowest in his Toyota.
11:40:19 Massa's time is the third fastest of the race weekend so far and two-tenths off his Friday morning best.
11:41:48 A number have pitted now. Massa and Coulthard remain on track.
11:42:48 Massa and Coulthard have now pitted.
11:43:37 Nick Heidfeld is still down the order is 18th. Kubica is only three places higher.
11:44:33 Webber picks up 14 positions as he moves second fastest.
11:45:01 Trulli runs wide and opts to pit. He remains slowest.
11:45:53 A small gain for Kubica who moves to P11.
11:46:17 Barrichello also improves and is now seventh.
11:46:54 Fernando Alonso is now back out.
11:47:10 Alonso improves and is now fifth fastest.
11:48:35 Nick Heidfeld improves his own best but is still well down the order in the second BMW Sauber.
11:50:24 Ten minutes remain.
11:51:22 David Coulthard moves fastest while Button moves sixth fastest. Remember, some will be running with very light fuel, some with race fuel on board.
11:51:48 Raikkonen is back out.
11:52:53 Glock moves sixth fastest for Toyota.
11:53:31 Raikkonen runs wide at turn one.
11:54:29 Many in the pits ahead of a final run.
11:54:50 Raikkonen starts another lap looking to move up from ninth.
11:55:50 No gain for Raikkonen on that lap. He must have race fuel on board. Massa, Webber and Hamilton back out.
11:56:50 Webber moves fastest to make it a Red Bull one-two. Shame this is not qualifying!
11:57:11 The circuit is now busy with less than three minutes remaining.
11:57:25 Trulli moves from last to P4 in his Toyota.
11:58:39 Massa pits his Ferrari.
11:58:58 Rosberg runs wide at turn one.
11:59:27 Massa straight back out. Hamilton pits.
11:59:54 Alonso is on a fast lap.
11:59:59 The chequered flag is out.
12:00:21 Alonso moves second fastest behind Webber who has pitted.
12:01:10 Rosberg moves fourth fastest.
12:01:55 The order is now looking set. Webber is fastest for Red Bull ahead of Alonso and Coulthard. Three Renault-powered cars at the head of the timesheets.
12:02:33 Rosberg is fourth ahead of Massa, Trulli, Hamilton, Glock, Button and Piquet. Heidfeld is just 19th.
